Croatia Seeks Investors to Build Offshore Wind Farm

Croatia will probably build a 500MW offshore wind farm within the next wave of investments, reports Poslovni, citing Nenad Končar, head of Jadranska Ulaganja.

Due to the crisis in the shipbuilding industry, shipyards have turned to the offshore wind energy. The Zagreb-based company is currently doing a research and analysis of the three shipyards for which they placed a purchase offer as preparation for a business transaction.

The Jadranska Ulaganja will seek investors for the offshore wind farm project which would cost EUR 2.5 billion.
