As the construction of the wind farm proceeds, the construction of the operations organisation to be in charge of operation and maintenance of the wind farm for the next 25 years has been started. The first posts were advertised in autumn 2012, and the first team of 11 wind technicians has started in Grenaa on 1 March 2012.
The wind turbine technicians must attend an intensive training course, among other things at the wind turbine supplier Siemens, where they will be trained in maintenance of the type of wind turbines installed in Anholt Offshore Wind Farm. The wind technicians will also participate in the project by performing supervision and taking part in the commissioning.
