Atlantic Array Could Use South Wales Ports, UK

Substations or cable laying for Atlantic Array offshore wind farm would not be built in South Wales but in north Devon, it has been said on a planning meeting of Carmarthenshire Council.

However, the ports of South Wales could play a huge role in transporting components and materials to and from the development site.

This is South Wales news portal says that the Council will hold another meeting on September 3. Until August 31 it has to submit its findings to the Welsh Government planning inspectorate, which will then submit the final result to the UK Government.
