Two Companies Eye Polish Energy Partners

Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE) expressed its interest in acquiring the Polish Energy Partners (PEP), writes Power Engineering news site.

PGE plans to install a total of 1,000 MW of onshore wind capacity by 2015. The company also received three permits to construct the first Polish offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea.

By acquiring PEP, PGE plans to expand its wind power portfolio.

Polska Grupa Energetyczna is not the only one interested in purchasing PEP.

Namely, Enea is also keeping an eye on the Polish wind energy company.
