As South Korea’s Incheon Metropolitan City is looking into generating electricity from tidal power, experts from the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney will help the country to build a tidal testing facility.

The city of Incheon is experiencing substantial economic development, during which it is pressing ahead with a tidal testing facility, the BBC writes.

EMEC will provide advice and help on the design, construction and operation of the testing facility.
