Danish based Fyns Kran Udstyr has developed a hydraulic yoke that makes lifting, maneuvring and mounting wind turbine nacelles quicker and safer . Wind turbines present a viable source of energy, but lifting and handling the large wind turbine nacelles requires finesse. Assembling the wind turbines can be a difficult venture without the proper equipment which is where Fyns Kran Udstyr comes into play. The hydraulic yoke is adjustable, allowing installers to change the nacelle’s centre of gravity to an exact angle when mounting the nacelle on the tower. The device increases safety, reduces risk and lowers operational costs.
