UK: Osiris Marine Services Completes Work on Lincs Offshore Wind Farm

Osiris Marine Services announce successful completion of diving works on the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm.

Supporting offshore foundations market leader MT Højgaard with Diving, ROV, Confined space and tower climbing services continuously for 18 months, Osiris Marine Services played a significant role in the successful completion of the foundation installation works.

Working from the jack up Sound Prospector, Osiris was responsible for installing J-tube extensions using divers – the extensions allow the subsea cable to safely be pulled up into the turbines, and further responsible for the installation of cathodic protection for the transition pieces and also the installation of the J-tube supports inside the monopile itself.

Luke Ansell from Osiris Marine Services said “The successful completion of this project demonstrates how the multi skilled and experienced offshore crews of Osiris Marine Services provided a full project solution to MT Højgaard”

Katrine Olesen Mortensen, project Manager, MT Højgaard added: “Osiris did well on this project. At MT Højgaard we place stringent requirements on our subcontractors and suppliers. We select them based both on their capacity to meet the requirements of the project and on our own evaluation of previous collaboration with them.”

The 270MW Lincs offshore wind farm, 8km off the Lincolnshire coast, is a joint venture between Centrica (50%), DONG Energy (25%) and Siemens Project Ventures (25%)
