UK: Celtic Array Presents Rhiannon Wind Farm Plans in Amlwch

Centrica and Dong Energy consortium, Celtic Array, will hold public meetings regarding the proposed wind farm in the Irish Sea.

The public information days will kick off today on Anglesey, BBC writes.

Rhiannon Wind Farm will be located approximately 19km from Anglesey with total capacity of up to 2.2GW, which is enough to power about 1.7 million homes.

The wind farm would have 140 to 440 turbines depending on their capacity.

Construction could commence in 2017 if Celtic Array receives permission.
