Germany: Sandbank Offshore Wind Seeks Substation Design, Installation

Sandbank Offshore Wind GmbH is looking for contractors for offshore wind farm works.  The whole project consists of 96 WTGs, WTG foundations, Inter Aray cables and an Offshore Substation (OSS).

The windfarm is located in the German Bight, 90 km west of the island of Sylt, in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

The location provides water depths between 25 and 34 meters. The Sandbank project is equipped with an irrevocable permit. In a first construction phase 288 MW of electricity will be realised.

The scope of work of this tender includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of an Offshore Substation with equipped topside, substructure and foundation. The OSS will be designed for voltage levels 33/155 kV.
