France: EDF Requires Offshore Wind Consultancy Services

EDF is looking to award contracts for consultancy services for two proposed offshore wind farms in France, one at Fecamp and the other at Courseulles-sur-Mer.

The work is related to assistance to the special committee for public consultations (CPDP), which includes design, editing, layout, printing and distribution of communication tools, as well as preparation of reports.

Furthermore, the contractors will provide logistical organisation of public meetings, press conferences and other public events and secure transportation and material moving of exhibition equipment. Also, the contract involves assistance with the inner workings of the CPDP.

The project period covers 10 months from date of the contract award.

In April EDF won the rights to develop three offshore wind sites: in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), Courseulles-sur-Mer (Calvados) and Fecamp (Seine-Maritime).
