VIDEO: Cobscook Bay Tidal Energy Project

Cobscook Bay Tidal Energy Project is the first phase of the Ocean Renewable Power Company’s (ORPC) Maine Tidal Energy Project, and the first commercial, grid-connected ocean energy project in the United States. In 2012, following FERC approval, ORPC began the Maine Tidal Energy Project by installing a commercial TidGen™ Power System in Cobscook Bay.
