Hydratight was one of 68 companies honoured for outstanding work on power projects at Bechtel’s annual Subcontractor and Supplier Recognition awards. The awards recognize subcontractors and suppliers who provided outstanding support for Bechtel Power’s renewables, nuclear, communications and transmission, and fossil projects.

“These companies are just as committed to delivering safety and quality as we are,” said Alasdair Cathcart, president of Bechtel’s power business . “Their dedication and commitment are critical to the success of our projects and our company, and we appreciate the value they bring to the table.”

“It was an honour to accept the award on behalf of the employees at Hydratight,” said Chris Mitchell Vice President of Global Sales and Services at Hydratight . “This award is a reflection of our employees’ hard work to support Bechtel on their critical projects and their dedication to working safely.”

Companies were evaluated on multiple factors. They include overall performance; the ability to deliver quality equipment on time; the ability to work collaboratively to meet milestones; and meeting or exceeding project expectations in aspects of safety, construction performance, technical expertise, and environmental compliance. Nominations were submitted by Bechtel project procurement and contract managers, and final recommendations were approved by senior-most leadership within Bechtel’s power business.
