Anholt Offshore Wind Farm has created so much traffic and growth that DONG Energy has been awarded a ’Baltic Trend-Setter Club’ certificate – an prize which is annually awarded by Baltic Transport Journal.

Anholt Offshore Wind Farm has been awarded the prize for the infrastructural project in the Baltic Sea region which has had the largest positive effect on transport and logistics. In the official appointment, the Editor-in-Chief, Lena Lorenc, substantiated the award as follows:

“The editorial team of the Baltic Transport Journal annually awards the BSR market players with the Baltic Trend-Setters Club Certificates for most trend-setting ideas, decisions and projects.

This year we were happy to award DONG Energy for the launch of Anholt Offshore Wind Farm, so far the largest offshore wind park both in Denmark and in the whole Baltic Sea Region, as this massive and challenging investment not only facilitates further growth and development in the energy sector, but also has a key impact on port and logistics sectors in the Baltic Sea region.”
