Local businesses in Kilkeel have worked with Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI) to diversify their activities and successfully access new opportunities in the developing offshore wind sector.
Invest NI is a regional business development agency whose role is to grow the local economy. It does this by supporting new and existing businesses to compete internationally, and by attracting new investment to Northern Ireland.
The agency is part of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and provides strong government support for business by effectively delivering the Government’s economic development strategies. Invest NI offers the Northern Ireland business community a single organisation providing high-quality services, programmes, support and expert advice.
