Offshore Energy 2013 BOW Terminal Starts Load Out Operation for Amrumbank OWF

This morning, operation on the first load out of monopile foundations for the Amrumbank offshore wind farm started at BOW Terminal.

Arjen Pattenier, Business Unit Manager from BOW Terminal, confirmed this to Offshore WIND at this year’s Offshore Energy 13 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Amrumbank’s monopiles weigh more than 600 tons each. The wind farm, located northwest of Helgoland, will comprise 80 Siemens’ 3.6 megawatt (MW) offshore wind turbines and will have a capacity of 288 MW.

Offshore WIND had a pleasant conversation with Mr. Pattenier at the event today, so more information about BOW Terminal’s latest work will soon be published on the website.
