On Saturday, November 23, “Sea Hurricane” was launched for the first time to join her sistership “Sea Storm” in Skagen Harbour.

“Sea Storm” is scheduled to leave Skagen soon to carry out her operational duties, while “Sea Hurricane” will now undergo her formal sea trials prior to handover.

Due for handover during December, “Sea Hurricane” is the fourth in the ongoing series of carbon fibre passenger carrying vessels for the wind farm industry.

The Danish Yachts’ SWATH range of vessels all have unique ballast systems which allow for the vessels to switch from high speed catamaran mode into SWATH mode virtually instantly.
