The quality management of Deutsche Windtechnik Offshore und Consulting GmbH has been awarded the certificate according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 for its services at technical plants in the field of on- and offshore wind energy by Germanischer Lloyd (GL Systems Certification).

With this the company shows its decisiveness to systematically work according to the criteria of a goal- and performance-oriented quality management in all relevant areas.

The certified performances include expertise and consulting services, technical inspections, manufacturing supervision, maintenance as well as plant and occupational safety.

Commitment to quality

“We commit ourselves to a high degree of quality with the certification. It enables us to organise our operations for a continuous improvement of our single performances – intern as well as extern – comprehensibly and reliably. This is also valuable for our clients”, says Matthias Brandt, chairman of Deutsche Windtechnik AG and managing director of Deutsche Windtechnik Offshore und Consulting GmbH. He adds: “With regard to all QM measures it is important for us to identify the relevant points of the processes and to act specifically. Especially regarding offshore services the high risk potential requires a lot of experience and a solid planning concerning all decisive QHSE aspects.”

Complete servicing for wind energy plants

The company Deutsche Windtechnik with its headquarters in Bremen offers the entire package for technical maintenance of wind energy turbines from the same source. The company predominantly works onshore but increasingly also offshore. The focus areas of the service provider are machine service, rotor blade service, control, safety, expertise and consulting, substations and repowering. Besides Offshore and Consulting also the areas Service, Control, Rotor, Tower and Safety are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
