Bachmann to Present Its Wind Energy Solutions at EWEA 2014

Experts from Bachmann electronic GmbH and Bachmann Monitoring GmbH will be presenting innovative hardware and software solutions for the international wind energy industry at this year’s annual conference of the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) from 10 to 13 March 2014.

At Bachmann electronic GmbH’s trade fair booth 6C10, trade visitors will be able to have a technical check-ups on their onshore and offshore wind turbines as well as presentation of the latest measurement technology challenges in the wind energy market.

Bachmann Monitoring GmbH develops, produces and distributes innovative measurement systems and systemic solutions for permanent, condition-based maintenance of wind turbines. In a comprehensive service concept, these stand-alone condition monitoring systems (CMS) clearly increase the reliability and profitability of the wind energy plants.

With Bachmann Monitoring’s core competences – the measurement and online analysis of vibrations – the most important components of the power train of onshore and offshore wind turbines can be successfully monitored.

CM Teleservice (remote monitoring) via the internet forms the basis for the efficient monitoring of decentralised turbines. Downtime of the plants can be eliminated as a result of the early recognition and localisation of weaknesses and thus reliably increasing profitability. The condition monitoring based on vibration measurement can be supplemented with additional diagnostic functions such as imbalance, rotor blade and structural monitoring. The service also includes the compiling of vibration reports.

Wind energy plants with a Bachmann control system can also be equipped with a complete control-integrated “Omega Guard” CM system, which is also certified by Germanischer Lloyd. In addition to the traditional stand-alone CMS, the “Omega Guard” will provide further substantial cost advantages as well as significant new technological solutions.
