Central Industry Group (CIG) announced a new repositioning and rebranding.

The group has renamed Vuyk Engineering Groningen to CIG Maritime Technology, Shipkits to CIG Shipbuilding and their German subsidiary Shippipe continues as CIG Piping Technology. This reflects their position within the supply chain.

According to the company the rebranding exercise is part of CIG’s bigger vision to become a worldwide leader in 3D formed steel solutions for the maritime industry, architecture, renewable energy and general industry purposes.
