NTOC to Work on 200MW Chinese Offshore Wind Project

Nantong Ocean Water Conservancy Engineering Co., Ltd (NTOC) has successfully won the bid for Jiangsu Rudong 200 MW offshore wind power demonstration project, which includes the foundation construction, wind turbine installation and cable laying.

NTOC to Work on 200MW Chinese Offshore Wind Project

The project is located in Jiangsu Rudong’s new floodgate, outside of the intertidal zone, about 4.5 to 6.5 km away from the coast. The project contract is worth about $230 million, and the working period is estimated to last for 6 months. The contract comprises the construction of 14 foundations, installation of 36 wind turbines and laying of 126 km of submarine cables.

Relying on rich experience in the intertidal zone construction and advanced ship machine equipment resources, this is the second time for the NTOC to win the bid for an offshore wind power project.
