Forteiland Ijmuiden Hosts Offshore Wind Meeting

AYOP, IRO, TKI Offshore Wind, Velzen Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce are jointly organizing a meeting today dedicated to offshore wind.

The purpose of the meeting being which is held in Forteiland Ijmuiden is:

• provision information on funding opportunities and the tender process;
• linking industry and knowledge institutions;
• encouraging cooperation and generating ideas.

The program focuses on five innovation themes; support structures, optimization of wind central, internal electrical network and connection to the grid, transportation, installation and logistics, and management and maintenance.

In addition, a number of Joint Industry Projects will be set up.
