Dalby’s Guests Take Ride to Greater Gabbard Wind Farm

Dalby Offshore invited guests from Waveney & Suffolk Coastal District Councils and The Enterprise Zone Coordinator from the local enterprise partnership aboard the Dalby Offshores brand new Wind Farm Support Vessel the ‘Dalby Swale’ for a trip to the Greater Gabbard Wind Farm.

Also, a guest on the Vessel was Steven Rose, Head of Wind Generation for Energy Company SSE.

Guests were looked after by Dalby Skipper Colin Palmer and a full demonstration was given of the vessel ‘pushed on’ to a turbine as it does when at work, transferring crew to the turbine.
