Offshore Waddenzee Hits the Water

Offshore Wind Services’ (OWS) vessel Offshore Waddenzee was launched today at Damen shipyard in Den Helder.

This is the second vessel ordered by the company from Damen this year.

Offshore Waddenzee was scheduled for delivery in August, but according to Workships’ twitter account, the vessel has already hit the water.

The vessel is going to be working alongside two other OWS vessels on the construction phase of the Luchterduinen Offshore Wind Farm for Van Oord.
