TenneT Eyes UXO on BorWin3 Cable Route

The planned BorWin3 submarine cable connection is a DC power transmission link with a length of 130 km.

Landfall is at Hamswehrum in Germany from where the route crosses German territorial waters and the German EEZ, before it ends at a planned substation in the North Sea (German EEZ), called BorWin gamma.

The route provides a wide variety of morphological features and water depths between -1.5m to 40m relative to lowest astronomical tide (LAT).
