TenneT-owned DC-Netz BorWin4 GmbH is inviting tenders for BorWin4 connection system located in the North Sea.
BorWin4 is a 900MW system for transmitting electrical power between offshore wind farms in the BorWin Cluster and a grid connection point on land.
The project comprises onshore and offshore converter station, as well as an offshore platform. The contractor will be in charge of design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
Manufacture and installation of DC cables including connection from the HVDC offshore station to the land is also covered by this tender.
The deadline for the completion of the project is 30 months.
