WP Offshore’s new Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) has touched the water off Cuxhaven, Germany.
With a length of almost 24 meters and a service speed of 24 knots, she will bring staff safe and quickly to the offshore area. By using the wave compensating platform, it provides the personnel a safe access to the offshore structure.
To reduce fuel consumption and more sea keeping, WP Offshore has chosen a vessel that is partially constructed of composite. This will save 50% fuel consumption and has a lower impact on the energy supply during heavy docking operations.
