The first jacket for Zhuhai Gui Shanhai wind energy project has been assembled.
Two crawler cranes lifted 400-tone jacket into crane, allowing Zhujiang Steel Pipe (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. to undertake the assembly work.
The four-legged jacket structure, with a vertical height of 30m, is 9 x 9m at the top and 15 x 15m at the bottom of the column.
The Gui Shanhai offshore wind farm project comprises a total of 66 turbines, 7 out of which will be installed on jackets. The remaining six jackets are currently being constructed.
Covering an area of 42 square kilometers it will have a total capacity of 198MW.
