Offshore WIND’s photo of the day: SylWin alpha platform caught on camera during nighttime, showing all of its colors.
The platform is part of the SylWin1 grid connection, which transports electricity from the three wind parks: Butendiek, Dan Tysk and Sandbank to the mainland.
The photo was published this morning by Siemens as its Picture of the Week. The photo was taken from the crane of the platform supply vessel which housed the team during the installation phase. During this time, the platform supply vessel is jacked up to minimize the effects of heavy seas.
