Dap UK Enters Offshore Energy Market

Business & Finance

In recent months, global shipping company dap UK Ltd, has seen a massive increase in the number of movements awarded to the group that are directly related to the oil, gas and renewable energy industries.

Dap UK Ltd has highlighted that it is well qualified to assist during the construction phase for the Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, which is due to commence in 2016, where it will be critical that equipment is shipped to the site safely and on time.

Commenting on the opportunities that will be available, Willem Scheyde, Head of Group development from dap UK’s Great Yarmouth office, said: “We have a great deal of relevant experience, so the opportunities that lie ahead of us will really play to our strengths. We are confident that we could add real value to the process, as the project will rely heavily on the reliable, cost effective and secure transportation of a wide range of goods, which is what we excel at.”

Dap UK Ltd is registered with FPAL; the community used by major buying organisations within the oil and gas sector, and is accredited by the British International Freight Association; the trade association for UK registered companies engaged in the international movement of freight by all modes of transport.

As well as Great Yarmouth, dap UK Ltd also has offices in Felixstowe and Rugeley.
