Offshore Renewables Programme Seeking Consultant

R&D

Jointly funded by The Crown Estate, Marine Scotland and Welsh Government, the Offshore Renewables Joint Industry Programme (ORJIP) is inviting tenders for consultancy services.

Namely, The Crown Estate, on behalf of the funding partners, is running a procurement process to appoint a secretariat for the pilot phase of the Programme.

The role of the Secretariat will be to bring industry, funders and researchers together so that the sectors’ consenting risks can be addressed in a timely manner and on a strategic basis.

The programme has been established to resolve priority Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) issues for regulators and wave and tidal developers through focused research and monitoring.

The deadline for interested parties is 20 February 2015.
