Business & Finance

French transmission system operator, Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) is seeking contractor for connection of four offshore wind projects.

Namely, the company is inviting tenders for project ownership assistance (AMOA) for the preparation and support of connections works for Fécamp, Saint-Nazaire, Calvados and Saint-Brieuc wind farms.

The four projects, covered by this tenderc are four offshore wind projects awarded during the first offshore wind round in France.

First three sites were awarded to the EDF/Alstom Consortium, while Iberdrola and Areva won the rights to develop the fourth site.

If necessary, the AMOA may also attend RTE for contracting the supply contract and cable laying.
