CWind to Name Its Latest MPC22 at Seawork

Vessels

CWind will hold a drinks reception on 17th June at this year’s Seawork International (berth V25) to celebrate the official naming of its latest vessel to join the fleet.

The new MPC22 was conceived with round 3 offshore wind farms in mind and is designed to safely deal with rougher seas, longer transits and tougher assignments whilst not neglecting the comfort of passengers and crew.

The vessel features the Volvo IPS system for optimal bollard pull and service speeds, significantly increasing the fuel efficiency of CWind’s lighter weight composite catamarans.

The patented movable wheelhouse and flexible deck pod system mean that the vessel can fulfill multiple roles; transferring 12 technicians in ultimate comfort or removing its passenger pod to make use of 55m² of deck space for equipment transfer, carrying cranes, transfer systems or amphibious rescue vehicles.
