Offshore Structures Britain Facility to Open in September

Business & Finance

Offshore Structures (Britain), a joint venture between EEW SPC and Bladt Industries, will officially open its facility by the river Tees in the North East of England on September 14.

Amber Rudd, Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change, is among the invitees to this event along with a selection of our business partners and other relevant people from the industry.

The ceremony will feature speeches, tour of the facilities, light refreshments and the opportunity to network.

OSB has at its disposal 17 ha (42 acre) of land, more than 13,000 square meters of steel manufacturing facilities under roof and 2,000 square meters of blasting and painting facilities.

The facilities are particularly well suited for the production of large tubular offshore wind foundations, most notably transition pieces for monopile foundations.
