Managing Director Johan Hansen said the new name is a better representation of the company’s core services, which is providing independent offshore aviation consulting and safety assurance services to the offshore wind industry.

SeaState Aviation highlighted that, since its start-up in early 2015, the company has seen an increasing demand for its aviation consulting services from the offshore wind market. “Projects are moving further offshore, and just as in the oil & gas industry, helicopters are increasingly becoming an important part of the personnel logistic strategy, especially during the O&M phase,” Hansen said.

“With a further strengthening of the team, SeaState Aviation now have 6 people connected to the company, along with a strong base of partners and presence in Denmark, Norway and Germany. SeaState Aviation is now capable of delivering the technical, operational and commercial expertise necessary to support its offshore clients on all topics related to offshore aviation,” said Eirik Sunde, Commercial Director, SeaState Aviation.
