The offshore wind farms include Anholt, Horns Rev 2, and Nysted, comprising a total of 274 turbines, for which DONG Energy is in charge in terms of O&M. However, due to lack of internal resources, there is a need for a third party service provider of ad hoc wind turbine service, including bolt tensioning and replacement of major components, the company said.

DONG Energy will enter one contract for the three wind farms, which are featuring Siemens 3.6 MW and Siemens 2.3 MW (both VS and CS type) turbines.

An option to provide services for DONG Energy’s wind farms in Germany will be included in the contract.

Deadline for the submission of tenders is 8 February, 2016.
