DBB Jack-Up’s WIND SERVER Starts Working for Siemens

This morning, Siemens took over DBB Jack-Up’s new vessel – the WIND SERVER, thus commencing a three-year charter agreement under which the vessel will service a number of large-scale offshore wind power projects across Northern Europe.

Constructed at Nordic Yards in Germany, the WIND SERVER is purpose-built for offshore wind maintenance and service operations.

Thorsten Jalk, CEO of DBB Jack-Up Services, said: “Enabling efficient asset utilization and shared logistics between offshore wind power projects, the new vessel will play an important role in helping to reduce the levelised cost of energy (LCoE).”

The start of the charter agreement will be celebrated at a launch event at Siemens in Brande, Denmark, on 12 April.
