Siemens, DEME Team Up with EnBW on Kriegers Flak Bid

Business & Finance

DEME Concessions Wind and Siemens Financial Services have joined Kriegers Flak ApS, a project company set up by EnBW for participating in Kriegers Flak tender procedure.

The project company submitted an indicative offer for the construction of the Danish offshore wind farm on 5 April – as was stipulated by the Danish government in the tender procedure. This represents a non-binding first offer filed by tenderers during the dialogue phase of the tender procedure.

The final binding offer must be submitted by 8 November 2016. The successful tenderer should be awarded the concession by the end of the year.

Subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, the construction and commissioning of the wind farm will follow in the period up to 2021.

According to the agreement signed yesterday, Siemens Financial Services acquires 32.5% and DEME Concessions Wind 17.5% of the shares, thus reducing EnBW’s shareholding in the project company to 50%. The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) prequalified the Kriegers Flag ApS project company in October 2015.
