Esvagt WFSV Getting Navigation System from Raytheon Anschütz

Raytheon Anschütz, together with its exclusive Norwegian distributor Syberg AS, has won a contract for the delivery of a navigation system to the Havyard-designed wind farm service vessel being built for the Danish shipping company Esvagt.

The 88-metre Havyard 931 CCV (Crew Change Vessel) is planned to be delivered by Astilleros Zamakona Shipyard in Spain in the second quarter of 2017. Havyard Ship Design & Solutions AS is responsible for ship design and delivery of system packages.

Raytheon Anschütz will supply an Integrated Navigation Systems (INS) with a total of nine Synapsis NX Multifunctional Workstations for Chart Radar, ECDIS and Conning, as well as two network-based NautoScan NX radar transceivers.

Syberg AS has sold the Integrated Navigation System and will be responsible for the supply and commissioning at the end of 2016. Hans Buch AS in Denmark will be in charge of after sales and service support of the Integrated Bridge System.

Once delivered, the Havyard 931 CCV will be used under a contract with the Danish wind power company Vestas to service the wind farms Nobelwind and Belwind. This will be the fourth vessel Havyard Design & Solutions in Herøy has designed for Esvagt.
