Frisia-Offshore Takes Delivery of Wind Force III

Vessels

Frisia-Offshore GmbH has added another 22-metre catamaran – the Wind Force III – to its fleet of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs).

The Wind Force III is identical to the company’s 2009-built Wind Force I and the 2013-built Wind Force II.

The new CTV will join the sister ships in transferring offshore technicians from Germany’s mainland or from the East Frisian Islands to offshore wind farms in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea and back.

The Wind Force III was built by Estonia’s Baltic Boats AS, same as the Wind Force II. The vessel completed the 1,200 kilometre journey from the shipyard to Norddeich under her own power.

With the addition of the Wind Force III, Frisia-Offshore now has four CTVs in operation.
