Aqualis Offshore Bags Siemens’ Offshore Wind Deal

Operations & Maintenance

Siemens Wind Power has awarded Aqualis Offshore with a contract for a series of assessments of a jack-up vessel in relation to maintenance operations that the vessel will perform on offshore wind turbines at a variety of wind farms in the North Sea.

Aqualis Offshore’s office in London, UK, will conduct a series of generic assessments to cover a range of water depths and environmental conditions where the vessel, chartered by Siemens, is scheduled.

“Our task is to help determine the criteria that a given jack-up vessel can operate most efficiently and safely within. We are proud to be able to support Siemens and the installation work of this vessel,” said David Wells, CEO of Aqualis Offshore.

The companies did not reveal the vessel’s name nor the value of the contract.
