Atlantic Pioneer is the first offshore wind support vessel built in the United States.

The 21-meter vessel, designed by South Boats IOW, was built by the Rhode Island-based Blount Boats to service a 20-year crew transfer contract with Deepwater Wind for its 30MW offshore wind farm.

The CLB Big Max has already started laying the subsea cable which will export power generated by the first US offshore wind farm to the mainland.
