The first contract was completed at the 60MW Scroby Sands wind farm off Great Yarmouth prior to maintenance work being carried out at the site early in May. For this contract the vessel operations were conducted from Norfolk Marine’s Lowestoft Base.

On securing of the second contract for works at Robin Rigg, the vessel was stripped down for road transport to Cumbria from Lowestoft.

Geomara, Norfolk Marine’s survey partners had their team on the quay side ready to go, allowing the Robin Rigg contract to be completed within 3 days of the vessel being loaded on to the truck in Lowestoft.

Johnny Gallagher, Norfolk Marine’s Sales Director said: “The Norfolk Swift is a highly versatile Survey Vessel and combined with Geomara’s “can do” approach enables us to react quickly to client’s needs when required.”
