On the 30th of June, the Belgian Offshore Cluster (BOC), in partnership with Buijsse Specials, Geoxyz and G4S, proposed a number of new services and technologies for the maintenance of offshore wind turbines in Ostend.
Belgian Offshore Cluster said that with this move it unites suppliers with very specific technical knowledge, with the main goal of making their activities known abroad.
Combining the activities of Buijsse Specials and GEOxyz enables carrying out all the work from inspection to repair of wind farm structures. Buijsse Specials specializes in the conservation of steel and concrete structures, with a focus on offshore coating operations.
Drones will be used for inspecting turbine structures, a service provided by G4S and its partner DDC.
