There is just one more tower section to be mounted on the foundation, Deepwater Wind said, after which the first of five Haliade 150-6MW turbines will be installed.

Brave Tern is supported by two lift boats, L/B Caitlin, and L/B Paul, during the turbine installation phase.

The Block Island wind farm, located some three miles off Block Island, Rhode Island, is expected to be fully commissioned by the end of 2016.
