Offshore wind projects like Sandbank wind farm in Germany, Aberdeen wind farm in the UK or Horns Rev 3 in Denmark, as well as the company’s first large-scale solar project in connection with an onshore wind farm, have led to creating new jobs in commercial and technical areas and the company has already begun the hiring process for these new positions, with more than 600 employees already working on renewable energy projects within the Business Area Wind.

Lamin Faye, Head of HR & HSE for Business Area Wind, said: “The energy transition is already well under way and we need to build up new competencies and recruit new talent to help us achieve our ambitious goals. Vattenfall has over 100 years of experience in the energy business and is at the forefront in Europe’s energy transition into Renewables, especially in offshore wind. We offer an exciting work place where people can contribute to building the future energy landscape and we know that great people make all the difference.”
