US Northeast Wind Resource Center Updates Offshore Wind Hub

R&D

Northeast Wind Resource Center has updated the Offshore Wind Hub, a virtual resource library containing federal and state reports and documents on legislation, assessments, and policy related to offshore wind in the United States, from Maine south to Georgia.

The Offshore Wind Hub now contains state summaries for Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.

The updated library now also has resources such as task force meeting announcements, request for proposal announcements, and Offshore Wind Renewable Energy Credit applications.

The Northeast Wind Resource Center maintains the site with funding support from the US Department of Energy.

The Offshore Wind Hub seeks to collect all major reports, laws, environmental assessments, and other documents related to offshore wind policy, technology, economics, and siting in the Atlantic Coast states.

The current focus is on the Atlantic Coast, with other regions expected to be added over time.
