“We will handle the internal transports for Bladt by SPMT and flatbed truck. The cargo consists of different types of components weighing up to several hundred tons. We enjoy a good and close cooperation with Bladt which will be strengthened even further through this contract,” said Kim Thygesen, who is responsible for Blue Water’s activities at  Lindø.

Blue Water Shipping’s Lindø team provided Bladt with port handling, stevedoring and agency services in connection with the 350MW Wikinger offshore wind farm project.

In March 2015, Iberdrola contracted Bladt to manufacture 41 four-legged jacket foundations and 164 pin piles for Wikinger.

The final jackets for the project left Lindø and headed towards the installation site in the Baltic Sea in November 2016.
