The scope of the contract includes the construction of the topside and its jacket foundation in the Puerto Real shipyard, as well as the offshore support during connection and commissioning in the North Sea.

This is the second time the Purto Real shipyard is building an offshore substation for Iberdrola, after the construction and delivery of the Andalucia OSS built for the 350MW Wikinger offshore wind farm in German Baltic Sea, for which the company also produced 29 jacket foundations.

For the East Anglia ONE, Navantia is also in charge of fabricating 42 jacket foundations in the Ría de Ferrol shipyard, with the remaining 60 jacket foundations for the 102-turbine project to be built by Lamprell.

The GBP 2.5 billion East Anglia ONE, consisting of Siemens 7MW wind turbines, is scheduled for full commissioning by the end of 2018.
