The three-year contract covers emergency and rescue situations involving employees on the offshore platforms and wind turbines at EnBW’s operational wind farms Baltic 1 and Baltic 2, as well as Iberdrola’s Wikinger and E.ON’s Arkona wind farm, both currently under construction in the Baltic Sea.

The contract covers both construction and O&M teams working on the wind farms, and extends to the installation ships being used. The rescue helicopter including crew has to be ready for use around the clock, 365 days a year.

The contract is expected to start on 1 October 2017, and end on 30 September 2020, with an option for a one year extension.

The inclusion of other contract partners during the contract award procedure and/or the execution of the contract remains reserved.

The tender will remain open until 4 May 2017.
