For the coming years, Seacat Services will be providing logistical support, encompassing high-speed transfer of technicians and critical equipment to the wind farm from the O&M base at the Port of Lowestoft.

The charters will be undertaken by the company’s vessel Seacat Freedom, a 23m Controllable Pitch Propeller catamaran launched in 2016.

The Greater Gabbard wind farm is located 23 kilometres off the coast of Suffolk. It comprises Siemens 3.6MW wind turbines and has an installed capacity of 504 megawatts.
